The gang bang is a funny term for an inventive act involving a "gang" of people, usually men, surrounding and taking turns sexually engaging with the "bang" subject who is usually a woman.
Multiple Partners Means An Orgy...Right?
It's not quite an orgy because, in a gang bang act, there are multiple people penetrating just one or two subjects. The subjects themselves only please and pleasure, they don't usually take pleasure, per se.
They are the ones, in other words, whom the sexual acts are done to and who receive penetration.
But don't think this means they're being coerced - often, subjects of a gang bang are the ones who have expressed interest in experiencing multiple partners at once. They themselves find the act, for various reasons, incredibly powerful and erotic.

As women have become increasingly sexually liberated in our societies, one way to indicate and express their power is the ability to have multiple partners, waiting, at their beck and call. Sexual power is a huge measurement, at the end of the day, of both men's and women's worth.
This may or may not be misguided but it's certainly here to stay. And this means that women can (and do!) express their own desire to have many men at once. For them, it's a sign of their desirability and, since they're making their own choice, they feel incredibly empowered.
In some ways, the act is treated like a lark - a highly-charged, erotic lark between consensual adults, that is. The problem with this act, however, is the way it borders into more non-consensual territories.
When it comes to pornography, however, there are now "real cams" that focus, not on making the act a spectacle, but bringing it back down to earth. This is why many women who are the focus or subjects of these acts are usually styled as housewives who are lonely and want a bit of action or vengeful girlfriends trying to rub their exes faces in it.
